ISLAND OF SANTIAGO

Santiago is the largest island in Cabo Verde, the first to be discovered and where approximately half of the country’s population lives today. A mosaic made up of Cabo Verdeans from all the islands and European, Asian and African emigrants who make the island and especially its capital, Praia, a cosmopolitan territory, fertile in cultures, habits and traditions. ISLAND OF FOGO

Fogo is probably the most unique of all the territories that make up Cabo Verde. It is not modest to say that Chã das Caldeiras is a unique place. You get there via a road that winds through the mountains, without ever seeing the volcano. Until you reach a “magic curve” where the imposing cone reveals itself and finally, we have arrived at Chã das Caldeiras. A village located at the foot of the volcano, inside an old crater. Taste the flavors of Fogo in traditional restaurants, visit the cooperative cellar of the famous and award winning Chã wine or take walks from town to town, among the still fresh lava. ISLAND OF BRAVA

67 km2 of pure charm! Brava Island is the smallest of the entire archipelago, but one of the greenest, freshest and most flowery, characteristics that gave rise to its nickname “Island of Flowers”. Its small territory is fertile in vegetation; mountains, viewpoints, charming villages and a city – Nova Sintra – that got its name from the comparison with the town of Sintra, in Portugal, with which it shares the same type of architecture and cool, humid climate. Brava is an island that invites romance leaving bucolic Nova Sintra, towards the mountains, Brava reveals itself to be equally charming. Here you can bathe in natural pools with crystal clear waters in the historic village of Faja dAgua.

ISLAND OF SAL

It was from the island of Sal that Cabo Verde began to take off for tourism and today it is the favorite paradise of thousands of tourists who visit Cabo Verde every year, and a mandatory image on any tourist postcard of the islands.
